West Hartford Police Station

Renovations and additions to this police facility were completed to take advantage of space vacated after the relocation of an adjacent Superior Court. The newly enlarged floor area is 60,000 square feet and includes a modern communications center, new detention and processing facilities, an expanded sally port and a new public entrance. Upon completion of the new addition, comprehensive renovations of all existing interior spaces and systems including heating, ventilation, lighting, power, and data were also completed; interior finishes were upgraded as well.  A space needs analysis was also completed before commencing the building design.
