Torrington Emergency Operations Center

A 2-story addition to the Torrington Fire Headquarters was designed and constructed to accommodate the new Torrington Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the Litchfield County Dispatch Center. The EOC includes a command center, an office for the Mayor, a conference room, a radio room, and the Emergency Management office. The dispatch center, which operates 24/7 includes six dispatch stations, offices, and a kitchen. Existing offices in the fire headquarters were also renovated to accommodate the addition.
