As development of the area surrounding Fire Station 2 increases, Kaestle Boos completed a feasibility study to identify a space needs program for the station which would efficiently meet the needs of the department. The study included an existing conditions assessment to determine if the existing facility could be renovated. Features of the proposed new facility included three drive thru apparatus bays, a fitness area, storage, decon and scba rooms, living and sleeping quarters, and offices.
