Seven sites were evaluated as part of a feasibility study to determine the best location for a new Holliston Police Station. The site of the existing station was determined to be the best location and the existing building was demolished to make way for the new facility. Features include the separation of police, public, and prisoner areas, sally port, large, tiered training room, dispatch/E-911 communications center, roll call room, fitness area, and a vehicle maintenance bay. Complete with a dispatch station, the training room also serves as the Emergency Operation Center for the Town. Over 30 cameras are installed around the station to monitor and secure the facility. The new station is in a historic district and incorporates the architectural elements of the surrounding community.
