Following the completion of a facility study of four of Bristol’s five fire stations, additions and renovations to Station #4 were completed in conjunction with fire station programming and design consultant Mitchell Associates Architects. Features include two new drive-thru apparatus bays with operational support including decon and scba storage, conversion of the former bays to a new dayroom sleeping quarters and a training room, and renovations to the remainder of the facility. The facility is also expected to serve as auxiliary Emergency Operations Center and emergency shelter.
