To address overcrowding at the elementary school, Griswold Middle School was renovated to house grades 5-8. Located on a campus with the elementary and high schools, the addition included general classrooms, science labs and a new cafetorium. The remaining areas of the school, including additional classrooms, gymnasium, food service area, and historic auditorium, were renovated. Administrative offices were relocated adjacent to the main entrance. The project was completed approximately $2,000,000 under budget.
