The renovation-as-new project included an early childhood classroom addition to replace existing portable classrooms and a second addition consisting of administrative offices and a new highly visible secure main entry. The entire facility was renovated to upgrade technology, improve daylighting, update mechanical and electrical systems and code compliance. Site improvements include new playscapes, new parking areas, and improved circulation. The project met Connecticut High Performance Building requirements.
