A major focus of the MSBA study and renovation of Foxborough High School included the renovation of the science labs for greater accessibility, improved air quality, and proper ventilation. Renovations also included replacement of the boilers and the entire ventilation system for improved air quality and heating, new energy-efficient electrical system and lighting fixtures; removal of asbestos containing material from the entire school facility; replacement of inefficient windows, frames and doors with double-paned, energy-efficient windows and doors; and replacement of leaking roof with white Energy Star certified membrane roof.
