To alleviate overcrowding in the elementary schools, the ninth grade was moved to the high school and Easton Junior High School was transformed into a grade 6-8 middle school. Additions include a two-story classroom wing, expansion of the cafeteria and servery and an addition to the auditorium and music area. Renovated areas include the gymnasium, a new media center, upgrades to all existing classrooms, the auditorium and the existing cafeteria. Additional renovations include administrative and guidance offices, all MEP systems, alterations for universal accessibility (ADA) and seismic compliance, and a new fire protection system.
