Kaestle Boos completed a study to determine the feasibility of a new police station for the Town of Bellingham. The study included a space needs assessment and evaluation of the proposed site to confirm its suitability for a new police facility. The new facility will replace the existing station which is too small to house all staff members. Features of the new 13,700 SF facility include a large community/training room, secure prisoner processing and detention area, drive-thru sallyport, upgraded dispatch/E-911 center, private interview rooms, fitness center, and administrative offices. The training room will also serve as the Emergency Operations Center for the Town.
