Kaestle Boos designed a new 33,000 SF, 3 story addition to John F. Kennedy High School. The lower level of the addition includes a new auxiliary gymnasium, locker rooms, storage, and a classroom. The main level includes a fitness center and two additional classrooms. The upper level includes six science labs as well as five additional general classrooms. This level is also connected to the main building by an elevated walkway over the vehicle circulation route below. Renovations to the main building are also being completed including a new health suite and improvements to the administrative and guidance office suites. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2015.
